Actually the safest way would be to have a reasonably secured network within close proximity of someone else who leaves theirs open. No one would bother cracking yours.
For example, this article states that children of alcoholics are more likely to have drinking problems than children of non-alcoholics are. Can someone with a background in psychology comment on this?
