Was looking for someone to call this out. For the uninitiated, the three body problem sci-fi book trilogy hypothesizes using the sun to amplify and broadcast radio signals out into the universe. While this sounds good, it paints a target on us in the quite skies signaling to any life out there that this is a viable planet with resources to conquer.

Gets us closer to Vin Neumannâ(TM)s architecture. Dunno if this is solved already, but wouldnâ(TM)t there be need to solve things on the security side to make sure that typical storage read/writes donâ(TM)t access âoememoryâ?

Can it be used to prevent spread of forest fires? I think most forest fires spread through the canopy? Also, curious if this is water proof once applied.
