Another issue is none of the services make use of a show's natural commercial breaks. They just algorithmically decide it's time to annoy the viewer and insert a commercial break. Many times this results in: start of an action; inserted commercial; completion of an action; coming-up-preview-announcement; episode recap; next commercial break. Ain't happening.

Thank you for this. Sometimes we get so caught up in petty partisan politics and finger-pointing we lose sight of the important, stupid things that make our species so fun. I for one am looking forward to the remainder of my summer being spent with burned fingertips, the aroma of burnt cheese, and trash-talking my siblings at BBQs.

Both great for laugh out loud absurdity. Both on Prime.

The Great Courses' "Black Death: The World's Most Devastating Plague" was a real eye-opener. The parellels to today"s pandemic are uncanny/

Another good watch was the Russian series To The Lake. Filmed in 2019 it imagines a deadly virus breaks out in Russia.

i Iasked Ting if their network would support this phone. Their reply:

"Looking at the Pinephone it has the right band frequencies to work on our GSM network but the one thing I wasn't able to confirm is if it had the VoLTE software on it. Our GSM partner is sunsetting the 3G network this year and you'll need a phone that is capable of using VoLTE to connect your communications. It might be worth reaching out to Pinephone directly to see if they have any information regarding the VoLTE abilities on an MVNO GSM network like us here at Ting Mobile. "

I haven't yet verified that the phone has VoLTE
