Oh no! No one's ever gonna make me think doing something fun is gonna make me go blind ever again!
Besides, there is a third option. What if becoming invisible were not a physical alteration of the universe, but rather the ability to impress a "fog" over the eyes of others, so even though they physically saw you, they wouldn't be consciously aware that you were there. In that case, you'd still show up on cameras and the like, but the most fun parts of it would still be there.
