I vaguely entertained the concept of the idea of going shopping on Black Friday to try to use up some GC money and store credit while:
(a) the stores are still honoring 100% of the GC's (I've heard some are only honoring 60% as they are going bankrupt, so...), as
(b) some of these stores might not be around in a few months,
(c) I'm pretty sure I can't use these's GC's/store credit online, but I admit I haven't verified that, and
(d) part of what I wanted to purchase was shoes for me and my 1 year old son, which kindof requires being able to try them on. Although not so much for my son: he can't exactly relay how comfortable the shoes are, since he'd probably just be upset at having anything on his feet. And he's not quite walking yet, so testing the shoes out doesn't really apply to him, LOL.
Now I am SO glad I ate something that disagreed with me on Thanksgiving, and made me happily keep my butt in bed or on the couch most of Black Friday.
Trampling deaths? People getting into arguments and shooting each other?? WTF??? In order to save money at Walmart?!?!?
This day has just been a big "Weep for Humanity" kindof day. :P
