Every time I hear claims about No-Code, Low-Code, or AI tools that are supposed to make programmers obsolete I always ask the same question: Was the tool itself created by said tool? So far the answer has never been Yes.
"we know a quantum computer will be capable of breaking all traditional cyber defenses we currently use."
What does this mean exactly? I'll admit I know next to nothing about quantum computing, but a quick web search seems to suggest that at least some traditional security mechanisms will remain secure in a post-quantum world.
"... 5G technology, which is next-generation ultra-fast mobile internet seen as key to underpinning future industries such as artificial intelligence and autonomous cars."
In what way is 5G important for AI and autonomous cars? Will autonomous cars only work in rural areas with good 5G coverage?
I've also seen claims that 5G will enable remote surgery by robots which I also don't understand. A hospital advanced enough to have a surgical robot and/or the control thingy for a surgical robot would surely have a fibre optic internet connection?
Isn't the cost of the building merely shifted from the company to the employees? I for one can not afford to rent or buy a bigger place just to fit a home office.
