EAR are Experimental Audio Research, a band(?!), well project led by a mr.Sonic Boom, formerly of a british 80's band named Spacemen 3, whose music would probably be called 60's drone rock, but whose music had searing beauty behind it all, and incidently, Jason Spaceman went onto form Spiritualized. A write-up of the album is here, basically imagine a few speak'n'spells added with modulators, pitch-shift it a bit, and record the noise it makes......
