simrook writes: Thousand of people filed privacy complaints with the ESRB over Blizzard's recent (and afterwards recanted) move to requiring the display of real life names on their WoW, StarCraft II, and Diablo forums. 961 of those complainants had their emails exposed in the ESRB's response. Epic. Ironic. Fail.

The National Bureau of Economic Research said Monday that the US has been in a recession since December 2007. The NBER is a private, nonprofit research organization of academic economists who determine business cycles. The stock market took a dip on the news that reached double-digit percentages for some tech stocks.

World of Warcraft has a player base of over 10 million active subscribers, and is the most successful MMORPG on the market. Wrath of the Lich King, which will follow the previous expanion The Burning Crusade, will raise the level cap to 80, introduce new PvP warfare, new zones, raids, and instances. It is expected to be released in Fall of 2008."
