Jess decided to watch 2046 this morning, since I told her it was good.
Jess: [watching DVD] I don't like her...
me: Zhang Zi-Yi?
Jess: Yeah... I dunno why...
me:
Jess: maybe that's it
Funny how people release their inner rage. At U of A I was on an intramural ultimate team. The team was stacked like crazy, it was almost embarrassing. The geo dept. had 4-5 guys that played club ultimate, and they invited some other club members and recruited some girls, and there you have a team that usually won by about 10 or so. Anyways, there was this guy Todd, a 4th year student, that was always the picture of politeness (propriety? hah) during class, all smiley and friendly. But once he stepped on the ultimate field he turned into this jackass that really had to just CHILL OUT. He would argue about the rules and yell and the other team, "Read the rulebook!!!" and generally just be really pissed off if things weren't going perfectly (if we weren't scoring on every possession). And Naomi used to get annoyed at the guys on our IM bball team too 'cuz they'd take it too seriously and get all pissy. Gosh, sports makes guys moody like girls! Anyways I'll try to be chill during our bball game tonight because there's no reason not to be. But don't you think that the opponent is assaulting your very inner-being when they beat you? Oh man I just got a flashback of those psycho parents that used to get worked up and get technicals when watching their middle-school-aged daughters play little league bball. Lame.
Oh...that's what that meant (Score:1)
lol!
