Comment And, so, fire up 1000s fake remote ids??? (Score 1) 186

What's to say you can't spawn hundreds of 1000s of remote ids every time you take to flight, making the whole remote id useless? Just inject random slightly close data to the operator and the drone. Make it appear as if there's 1000s, constantly? Waiting for bots to do that from China or Russia, fooling the system near airports now, and halt air traffic over non-existent drones next. I'm sure the government thought this one out, long and hard -- not. Tie up the airport *AND* police resources going after non-existent drone operators. Too funny.

Autopilot is a fancy name for cruise control. Who's in charge of the vehicle? The driver. Who drove into the motorcycle? The driver of the Tesla. Doesn't matter if it's a 1950's Chevy with a throttle stop or Tesla's fancy name for cruise control, autopilot. *YOU* are responsible. No where did Tesla say, engage autopilot, fuck it, hop in the back seat, take a nap, we'll drive into the motorcycle from here.

100% true. The officer doing the stop will continue to do his job, whilst his partner will encroach on the parties filming. Oops, closer than 8' now. Move back. Officer keeps walking towards you. Move back. Move back... now you're 100' from where the officer doing the stop is breaking the law or stomping on someone's rights and the camera is out of range. Now party filming is arrested, phone / camera seized and impounded for a year while you fight to get it back. Try and prove your innocence without your video. Sucks to be you in the new police state.

With the environmental red tape that goes into underground storage tanks, maintaining pumps, and all the licensing required, and EPA cleanup / fines if tanks leak to make all the profit on the drinks & food they sell, vs having to do none of that with an EV charging station and still sell all the drinks and food, which works out better for them?

Telsa will be more than happy to take that govt money and add CCS cables to their Supercharger Network. Poof, instant charging network installed by Tesla. Their cars are already CCS Enabled. Just got my CCS Adapter from Tesla too. Let's me not only use the Supercharger network, but also Electrify America and others. EA is spendy as hell, but if in a pinch, beats nothing.

7,000 short term jobs, 30 years of no tax collected for Ohio. Yeah, Ohio citizens got fucked on that one. No roads, schools, water, sewer, police or fire. Fuckem real good. The plant worker jobs, they high end paying jobs, or dumping trash at $8 an hour? Benefits? Let's hope their payroll taxes offset the 30 years of no taxes Intel has to pay, unless those we're gifted too. Wait, probably on the Intel state tax side, not the employee side. Yeah, true win for the citizens of Ohio, take it up the ass, 30 years nice and hard.
