I think this is why a Amazon locker type solution makes more sense. It would also lend itself to automated loading of the lockers too!

Virgin 'anything' oil will be expensive for Biodiesel. I used to use biodiesel exclusively. I drove almost 2 years using > 20 gallons of regular diesel. I bought the biodiesel in bulk from a local producer who ws making it from waste oil. With the subsidy it was usually about the same price as diesel. I bought fuel in bulk (200 gallon sat a time) which would 'fix' my fuel cost for however long it took me to burn 200 gallons of fuel. At 40+ MPG, it took a while :). I stopped using biodiesel after a diesel fill rendered my car un-drivable due to the injection pump leaking so bad. I sent the pump out for re-seal and it ended up costing $1000ish to repair the injection pump due to corrosion inside. The Root cause was deemed to be water in the biofuel. Once fixed, I haven't touched the special sauce. In general I'm not sorry I tried it, but it did seem to cause or as least exacerbate an injection pump issue, it got about 5% worse fuel economy, and seemed to make slightly less power. On the plus side, it usually smelled like Chinese food vs diesel exhaust stink. I still have the car but has since sold my home Biodiesel fuel station.

It would look like crap but would be so much more useful right down the center of the strip.... or maybe under it.

I broke a Nexus 5 phone and replaced it with an iPhone 6 while I ws waiting for my Nexus 6P pre-order, figuring my daughter would be happy to get a couple month old iPhone. This worked out great and let me get to know iPhone. Over all it was a MUCH less painful experience than I expected. No Google rewards surveys and no dedicated back button. Nexus 6p finally arrived and I moved over to it , used it a year and change and the battery went to crap. Full charge to your phone is turning off due to dead battery in minutes or less. I then went back to the iPhone, which my daughter was reporting a similar issue with. It was working better than the Nexus 6P and so long as I had a charger on had I got by. I 'almost' did the $79 battery replacement but Apple store said ti's fine, in spite of the 40% to 0 being almost instant. Luckily... it worked well until the 40% dive bomb..... so I lived with it, until Samsung offered a deal I couldn't refuse crediting $400ish for giving them my iPhone and picking up a Note 8 at about 1/2 cost (I had bought and returned via a recall a Note 7). This was a no-brainer and now I'm a Note user and the battery life is amazing. I am glad to see Apple eventually did the right thing with the battery replacements through. $29 is pretty reasonable to breathe new life into a 2 year+ old phone.

Well not exactly the same thing, but close enough. One day out of the blue my iPhone asks for a 6 digit PIN where it was previously configured with a 4 digit PIN. Wipe / reset / total loss. I'm happy to be back on Android but I will say the IOS experience wasn't near as painful as I expected once I got used to not having an app drawer.

and you can print a certificate of monitoring to make you insurance happy. State Farm is happy with my Simplisafe system.

DIY install, no contracts and service as cheap as $15/mo. I use the $25 plan to monitor / arm / disarm from my phone and I get SMS alerts. I'm VERY happy with them.
