I don't usually post links but this one was too good to pass up.

Nice Guys

I hate to admit it, but I'd say at least half of the complaints listed in there have applied to me at one point or another. The thing I like about the discussion is that it doesn't simplify the situation with cliches like "All men are jerks" or "Women only like to date jerks". Men and women are far too complex to generalize with a snappy one-liner.

Thanks for the affirmation. I'm not sure what's on the rest of that site, but the random articles in that section seem to speak to me pretty clearly. I never claimed to be amazingly sensitive or understand women or anything, but I think on some small level, I have believed that if I acted "nice" enough, God would understand and give me some kind of karmic bonus. That's a not good reason to do anything.
