shankar2k's Journal: It's That Time Again!

That's right! My beard growing out, my laundry is piling up at home, and the restaurant on Green and Wright are getting my business for lunch and dinner. So what does that mean? My research group is submitting four papers to ICCV and I got my name on at least two of them. Right smack in front too! It's all going down this Monday, so like last semester, everything STOPS!

Well it's not quite so bad. That whole "be-a-shaggy-hermit-and-live-in-the-lab" thing really sucked, but that's because I did it for a whole semester. I also was staying up so late I was missing my classes. Not this time around though. I can pick up the pieces of my worthless existence (okay, that was way too overdramatic) after Monday, and I will still be on top of coursework and everything. W00t!

One of those 'that thing will look amazing when puberty kicks in!' kind of beards. It doesn't look too great with my salt and pepper haircut, so usually I shave. No time for that right now!
