Comment Re:But is it working? (Score 1) 187

This is the real issue with BT & slowdowns on most home routers, not bandwidth restrictions. The table that holds network address translations (NATs) doesn't have enough memory on these limited home consumer routers and thus fills up at an amazingly high rate. Putting a 3rd part firmware (e.g., DD-WRT) on a router is often one of the best ways to help prevent BT from crippling other users on the same shared Internet connection because it may give more memory to the NAT session table and also you can adjust the timeouts if you so choose.

It's known to do this. It has to do with iTunes messing with the drive's High and Low Filters. When I deleted the registry changes, iTunes gave a warning message every time it loaded, but still worked fine. Plus, the drive "magically" began working again. Apple talks a little about how these filters can mess with iTunes if changed. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2615

Sounds like Guillain-Barré syndrome. Anyways, while I believe you can still sue, since the 1988 there's been an alternative from the US government called the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). The Department of Health and Human Services has a page with information on this program at http://www.hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/.

Not to be redundant, but I've also streamed a lot of stuff via the 360 and have had no connection issues. The one issue I've run into is that shortly after I start a stream it pauses and says that "your network connection has slowed and Netflix is adjusting playback to reduces interruptions" or something similar. It's fine after that which leads me to believe it's Comcast's Powerboost (http://www.comcast.net/powerboost/) making the initial line speed faster than what it will stream after the 1st 10 MB.

I agree about the model rockets. I spent a ton of time as a kid with them. It was relatively simple, but it was still fun to build one from a kit then shoot it off. I never bought it, but there was even one that went up a little bit then dropped an egg from that height.
