Re:@Home cable modem (Score 1)

I just installed @Home two months ago, it is FREE till the end of this month. The Cable Modem rental is $10 plus $29.95 service charge per month. I was told the modem runs about $250, so, it is cheaper to rent, and, @Home will provide upgrade as part of the rental fee, so, it is not worth to buy on your own. I just called a bunch of Radio Shack stores in San Jose, none of them carries cable modem, where is this Free Cable Modem promotion being offer?
