besides golden boy's pepperoni in san fancisco's north beach, my favorite pizza was at a seaside pizzeria in rimini. i was there for world ducati weekend in 2000. it was called pizza atomica. i ordered because of the name. it was thin crust and had a single, different, topping on each quarter and in the center was an egg. man that was good. the second time i went to italy i drove a few hundred klicks out of my way to get said pizza atomica. then tried to go to valentino rossi's hometown of urbino but got caught up in the mille miglia. why do i live in america again?
