Rock Band 3 To Include MIDI Keyboard 107

xbeefsupreme writes with news that Harmonix has officially demonstrated Rock Band 3's 25-key MIDI keyboard. From USA Today: "During the game, green, red, blue, yellow or orange keys flow on a 'stream' representing the notes to be played on five corresponding keyboard keys. In a new authentic Pro mode meant to help players segue to actual instruments, all 25 keys are used; the streams shifts left and right to cover the correct keys. The keyboard also works as a MIDI keyboard that can be connected to a computer. 'This is a real instrument and a real device,' says senior designer Sylvain Dubrofsky." The game will also support more advanced "real" guitar controllers, which have six actual strings you can strum. Hit the link below to see the keyboard in use.

Gulf Oil Spill Disaster — Spawn of the Living Dead 228

grrlscientist writes "A recently published study, intended to provide data to commercial fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico so they maximize their catch of Yellowfin Tuna, Thunnus albacares, whilst avoiding bycatch of critically endangered Atlantic (Northern) Bluefin Tuna, Thunnus thynnus, suggests that the Deepwater Horizon oil leak may devastate the endangered Atlantic bluefin population, causing it to completely collapse or possibly go extinct."

I am not saying "I know it happened this way", but I would like to posit that God created the earth with an appearance of age. Perhaps, he created a fossil record of creatures that never actually existed; or existed in some time frame we are unaware of. His purpose in creating humans was to have a relationship with them, yet he gave us free will. To do so would imply that he didn't want to force us to serve him; we aren't drones. As such, would he (or the devil, but that's a whole new discussion) not put some stumbling blocks before us? It is possible that such things exist to make us have a "walk of faith"; not just "have faith". I certainly don't have the same views as I did ten years ago, and don't expect to have the same views I have today ten years from now. Life is a learning process. The one thing I am sure of is that, when I am in Heaven, one of my first questions for Jesus will be "So, how did your Father create the earth?"
