This is ridiculous - library books have to cater to a broad and very generalized audience they cannot be at the expert level. They have to appeal to anyone interested in computers. I'll tell you right now that NOBODY would take this out - they love dummy books - personally I hate them - but that's what the public wants. A couple of books on programming, a couple on operating systems, lots on internet related materials. I know - I am a librarian - you have to go for a wide variety of general topics - to waste shelf space on apple II and VGA programming is simply short-sighted and ridiculous. People that are truly interested in this will buy books on this specialized topic as they are handy references. If you find these types of specialized topics in a library, it's because someone has donated the materials.
