Sorry for my terrible formatting before...here is the revised post. Anything from the demo group Farbrausch is guaranteed to be a good look. My personal recommendations include:

--> FR-08: By far, this is the best demo of them all. 13+ minutes of sheer graphical goodness. In 64kB...
--> FR-019: Awesome graphics, awesome music, just an incredible few minutes of sheer artistry.
--> FR-025: Awesome music, cool graphics, adjustable resolution and graphical options.
--> FR-041: Run this at the highest res you can and full options and you will make your graphics card cry. My ATI X1900XTX cant make it all the way through without artifacting due to heat. Only 177kB to boot...

For non-Farbrausch demos, check out:

--> "Heaven Seven" by Exceed: Again, just a beautiful few minutes of graphics. Hit the spacebar for a FPS counter. Only 64kB as well.
--> "Fall Equals Winter" by Replay: Not a exceedingly stunning graphic demo, but the music is awesome in this one. Tip, you may have to run it with the windowed mode switch (-w)

LiveJournal Says Users are Responsible for Content of Links 283

Many of you might remember the previous story about LiveJournal erroneously deleting hundreds of users as suspected paedophiles, spurred on by pressure from the group, Warriors for innocence. Since then, they've been taking action against users hosting material on their servers that they believe to be illegal. Today, LiveJournal management have demonstrated a serious lack of understanding in how the internet works, declaring that users are responsible for the content of the webpages that they link to in their blog entries. A user points out the obvious flaw: "I get ToS'd because the link's been redirected to a page full o' porn, even though context clearly shows that when I originally put up the link that it didn't actually land on a page of porn?" One wonders how such a long-established blogging company can be so ignorant about the nature of the world wide web.

IsoHunt Shut Down? 297

The owners of the site say that the move came from their ISP without prior notice, though it is probably linked with the MPAA's lawsuit against various torrent search sites earlier this year. They plan on moving ISPs from the US to Canada, and say that moving the servers so someplace like Sweden or Sealand is not an option, as they put it: "BitTorrent was created for legitimate distribution of large media files, and we stand by that philosophy as a search engine and aggregator."" This is a story we've heard before with other sites, only serving to further demonstrate that playing wack a mole with torrent aggregators isn't the solution to anything.
