Trademark law can take YEARS to resolve.
For anyone other than Natepad++, this is a nothing.

Metastudies are useless for anything but providing a reason to perform another study.
Time and time again metastudies have come to faulty conclusions, because of variables simply not accounted for.
They're great for encouraging and pushing for funding to perform other specific detailed studies. But results from metastudies should not generally be used to influence outside of further scientific study.
And the media should never touch them.
That's great, fantastic, so it's about introducing a CO2 rich atmosphere to the plants, not due to the tiny increase of CO2 in the atmosphere then.
WOW. Fundamental difference in source leads to fundamental difference in fix...
The average kneejerk reaction study is worth less than the electrons it's displayed with.
Seriously, the study is broken, move along.
Yep. There's ways to lessen some pci requirements, but hiding the facts isn't one of them.
Unable to run current up to date versions is also a fantastic way to get compromised.
If you get compromised and it's discovered that you falsified your PCI stays, well, you'll find you can't accept payments any more. Good luck with that. Your customers won't all switch to a second tier alternative.
Is this another story where they slipped a decimal? The f it is you should end your shit.
If you tell me to install it but you fail your due diligence, illl bill you in full for the work and the fix.
Ignorance is a state of bliss for you.
AI readily generates code that exceeds Jr level programmer code by a wide margin.
It can also produce utter garbage.
But it is in no way equivalent to monkeys on a keyboard. Its success rate is significantly higher than that.
Clean room design is a legal strategy, but it is not a legal requirement. There are other methods that can be used for creating works not considered to being a derivative work.
Also a reminder, words used in law don't have the same meaning in language. The law usually narrows the meaning explicitly, or implicitly via case law.
GNU has used this to their advantage to clone most of the shell runtime utilities, so why shouldn't the same be used to replace GNU licensed code?
Open claw can use local LLM, but typical configuration is remove LLM api calls. It's not running everything in the device.
It's not friendly, but then, I didn't ask for it to be.
quite seriously, it's rather functional for a vibe coded / accidental development.

do what you want with it.
Already broken. Time to move forwarded.
I was asking for a proof of concept yesterday and accidentally got a functional implementation of asteroids.
Yeah, welcome to the future.
We don't even have the ability to detect our civilization from the distances involved.
At meta? It ain't about ethics, or morals.
It's about money.
Plagiarism and copyright violation aren't the same thing, contrary to some people's opinion.
LLMs don't produce a literally work verbatim, they produce extracts verbatim. I have two ex-gf that can quote entire pages from books they've read. (dozens, to hundreds). (it helps to be on the spectrum).
But, the ability to do doesn't mean anything they produce is inherently a violation; it does increase the *risk*.
