This karma business is ridiculous. I guess I can understand that just being funny can't earn you better karma. However, having a post that has positive points for "Funny" modded down for being "Overrated" and hurting your karma is terrible (oh wait, that's what Slashdot says my karma is right now). If a post is predominately modded up as Funny but has a couple of Overrated attached to it, your karma is affected negatively because someone who was given mod powers didn't think you were funny.
