i drive through this plant everyday while going to work. their parking lot is always full. really feel bad for the people who worked there. but this is the life for people like us who are engineers and develop technology. the fact is "it get better and will ultimately replace the primitives".

Stanford University researchers, however, have created an image sensor that also can judge the distance of subjects within a snapshot. To accomplish the feat, Keith Fife and his colleagues have developed technology called a multi-aperture image sensor that sees things differently than the light detectors used in ordinary digital cameras."
