Xubuntu 16.04 now have this option. Its called Xfce Panel Switch.

What we need is a very thin notebook. That's all. Different screen sizes will attend most people needs.

I agree. Feature phone is the way to became "normal" again. Most of time I keep it turned off inside car's glove compartment.
