I think it depends on where you live and the charging infrastructure.
Where I live the only down side is that on 4 -6 days a year I lose a hour because of charging stops. Iâ(TM)m sure that if my EV had a real world range of more 400KM, and >150KW charging, it would make no difference at all. The maximum hours of continues driving is limited by the need for bathroom breaks. About 3-4 hours with my familly.
