I think it depends on where you live and the charging infrastructure. Where I live the only down side is that on 4 -6 days a year I lose a hour because of charging stops. Iâ(TM)m sure that if my EV had a real world range of more 400KM, and >150KW charging, it would make no difference at all. The maximum hours of continues driving is limited by the need for bathroom breaks. About 3-4 hours with my familly.

This might not be profitable for new fibre installations. But for a state like Newyork with big cityâ(TM)s and a lot of existing infrastructure, Iâ(TM)m sure this could be done profitable with DSL and no add on services, only data and minimum support. If I was an ISP, i would offer Broadband a little cheaper than required and try to get a >50% largest market share fast. I would also try to sell every add-on service I could think off.
