Test Automation/Developers are in big demand (Score 1)

Lots of advice already given, one point... There are many companies out there looking for testers that can code, often unsuccesfully. So if you can code are are happy to do test automation you could potentially have a strong advantage. Many testers are not coders, they don't always have to be, but as a result it puts uber techie/developers in a stronger position if they are looking for a testing type role.
