BTC is a useless piece of shit. The original Bitcoin protocol with zero confirmation transactions and whatnot, however, is very useful. Just the other day, I noticed that a subtitles LibreELEC plugin was no longer working. Apparently the API of the subtitles provider had been retired, except if you were willing to pay a small fee. So, I sent a message to the provider, asking if I could pay with BSV (the original Bitcoin protocol), and the provider was fine with this. A few seconds later, the provider saw that I had made the payment, and my subtitles were working again. The transaction fee was less than 0.000001 USD

There's some miner throwing excess hash at the original Bitcoin protocol (BSV), mining huge stretches of empty blocks in order to disrupt the network. Thankfully there's no blocksize limit so honest miners can clear massive amounts of transactions whenever they manage to mine a block. Also, thanks to 0-conf, the attacking miner isn't such a big thing..

There were never any problems other than the intentional crippling of BTC. The original Bitcoin protocol (the coin is traded under the ticker BSV) achieves all the goals set by the Bitcoin white paper. https://sv.coin.dance/blocks Right now average block size is 100 mb (vs. 1 mb for fake Bitcoin (BTC)). Much, much bigger blocks have been generated (gb level) and the network could already easily replace VISA/Mastercard. Funny coincidence that Mastercard funded Blockstream, which controls Bitcoin Core, which makes the BTC software..
