Google is breaking the internet effectively splittong it into "google net" and the rest by pushing for AMP technology including regarding results in its search engine. Oh, it also steals a lot from other sites, not just news sources (wikipedia, etc).

You can code on your Chromebook just as much as you can code on your iPad. There is no way to install software like Eclipse, JDK, git, Maven, so you cannot really code.
