How do content filters work?
Turn web and search filters on to filter out sites and search results that are too mature when using Microsoft Edge on Windows (Windows 10 and Windows 11), Xbox (Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S), and Android devices. Other commonly used browsers will be blocked for this to work.

Yes, similarity does not prove copying. Maybe the Her movie tried to copy a particular well-known voice style, and maybe OpenAI tried to mimic that same style.
I do not think that she has withdrawn her consent. She has not sent take-down notices or anything like that. She made some comments about being retired, but they are ambiguous.
Many sites continue to limit lists to about 5 items, forcing the user to click next pages dozens of times to see everything. All to save a few kilobytes in a web that is many megabytes.
Because some browsers, as I have configured them, work better on some sites than others. In the example mentioned above, I could have javascript turned off in one browser, but need it for a particular site.
Microsoft has a lot of smart guys doing AI research, and yet it invested a billion dollars in OpenAI. That tells me that OpenAI has something that is hard to replicate.
Yes, this poor guy is just the scapegoat. ADT should have had some safeguards in place, and customers should have been given more awareness of how the system worked.
