That's the actual target - not Moscow. No telling how long it will take for them to gain operational control of Crimea, but the groundwork is being laid now. Crimea is all but cut off from resupply, and now it's just a matter of starving out the Russians while picking away at their remaining defenses.

He's sacked enough of his cronies already that it's unclear how much support he has left in his own government. There's no telling how much longer he'll last or how much longer the rest of Russia will be willing to keep up this war. Everyone knows Putin fucked up.
