While in high school, my math teacher allowed me to borrow a book called "Heart of Mathematics: An Invitation to Effective Thinking."
The book, IMHO, has been the best one I ever laid my hands on to intrigue me into mathematics.
It explained concepts such as infinity, cardinality of infinities, fractional dimensions, etc. exceptionally well while introducing interesting math puzzles.
For pleasure reading to help students appreciate the vastness and beauty of mathematics and mathematicians, I recommend "Fermat's Last Enigma."
