Check out http://cashmusic.org/ It was founded by Kristin Hersh from the Throwing Muses. It's a pretty good concept for a site where artists can share their work in an open source way.
If builders built buildings the way programmers wrote programs, then the first woodpecker to come along would destroy civilization.
