Look, Facebook is not a media or news outlet. It simply allows users to share content. True, different countries have different rules to what is legal. But once Facebook thinks that it should control content, it is on a downward spiral.
wow.. false moral premises? Really? Show me one. Murder, Rape, Steal are wrong by definition, but Kill, marital right, appropriate are not, why is that? And you do not realise that ethics are rule based and dogmatic and morals not?
I
If you think that moral relativism is an insult, I would point out that it simply is the case. I have lived in many countries and guess what? Their morals are reflective of their needs, their history, their desires, their environment, their Gods etc. Perhaps you are thinking of ethics, for that is the hiding place of cowards. If you think you are right, you do not have morals, but ethics.
Look, we all know that getting proof of who did what is close to impossible. To demand absolute proof is close to impossible with clued up actors. What all Americans should agree on is that if their security services agree that a foreign country has been attempting to influence their election by illegal means, they should be outraged, no matter what their political persuasion.
This is a good step in the right direction. If it is a clean install it may reduce the need for imaging, just join the domain and let the servers push the rest.
Because we all really trust that anymore... right? Nobody trusts the US devices anymore post Snowden, so the very idea will just add to the distrust. Compare: approved by the Chinese government and approved by the US government.
