Submission + - Microsoft Suspends Accounts of VeraCrypt and WireGuard Authors
An anonymous reader writes: Apparently without warning, the Microsoft account of Mounir Idrassi, the developer behind the encryption tool 'VeraCrypt' has been suspended. This means that the project can no longer sign the drivers and bootloader required to make whole disk encryption work. According to the author, no explanation was given, and no appeal is possible.

This is the same problem I'm currently facing with WireGuard. No warning at all, no notification. One day I sign in to publish an update, and yikes, account suspended.
