Re:Wii! (Score 1)

The Wii is one of many reasons to say that this is NOT a dismal year for gadgets. Cnet is being way over dramatic with their criticism here. In fact it is one of the better gadget years ever. Besides a Wii, how about a Tivo Series-3, Core 2 Duo laptop, HD-DVD, Blu-Ray, HD Camcorders, KRZR, Moto Q, iPod Shuffle? And that is only looking at brand spanking new stuff in 2006. Plenty of people still do not have last year's gadgets like an Xbox-360, PSP, or Nintendo DS, all of which still make great gifts this year for people who don't have them. Why not an iPod Nano, HDTV or Dolby Digital receiver or whatever. I mean, what year was better for gadgets, anyway? I would be very happy if someone got me a DS w/ Final Fantasy III and Brain Age this Christmas. Yes the PS3, FFXII, and Vista are delayed, especially in Europe but there are lots of other options guys, Cnet should wake up and read Engadget.
