Re:Playing God (Score 1)

Misconseptions (according to my humble self) about science:

- Science should never be fun
- Science should only be done to research solutions for Bad Things (tm)
- Science should only research things that are Morally Acceptable (tm)
- Science should not Play God (tm)
- Science should only do things that will definately work.

So some people want to try to breed (if we knew more about the process
probably call 'build') a nice woolly mammoth. So? It's fun, it's no
solution to any world desease, it's not morally acceptable (I'm sure
people would find some ethic reasons against it), it is playing God
(He's doing this all the time, isn't He?) and it might even not work.

Go for it, I'd say!
