reallocate writes: Looks like some Creationists are stuffing the Google ballot box (http://scienceblogs.com/gregladen/2015/05/26/what-happened-to-the-dinosaurs/). Ask it "What happened to the dinosaurs?" and you'll see links to Creationist sites pushed to the top. (And, right now, several hits to sites taking note of it.)

Submission + - How Can TripAdvisor Verify User Reviews Are Legit?

reallocate writes: Travel writer Arthur Frommer is convinced that user-written review sites like TripAdvisor cannot be trusted because hotel, restaurant and other property owners stack the deck by submitting a flood of bogus but glowing reviews. So, how could TripAdvisor and similar sites, like Yelp, identify bogus reviews? Is this a people problem or an algorithmic problem?
