As a paramedic who has had limited exposure to MVCs, Iâ(TM)d have to agree that most accidents I have attended are caused by laziness, aggressive driving, and/or some form of distraction or impairment that lidar would not have helped prevent. Thinking back on what Iâ(TM)ve seen, I am not convinced it would have helped with the environmental MVCs either (loose gravel causing a motorcycle to slip, black ice, hydroplaning). Maybe Iâ(TM)m wrong but I donâ(TM)t think lidar is looking for those things, but please correct me if Iâ(TM)m wrong.
