A new Doom is going to be distinctive because it is going to be a return to old school shooters. The straightforward first person shooter with a strong focus on uncomplicated action, is actually quite rare these days when you look past COD and Destiny. And even back in the day few games got it right. If the game gets it right and comes close to the original Doom and Quake experience, but with better graphics, it's going to be a lot of fun.
