Journal rLobster's Journal: Aaaaah, Life is sweet. 4

Today began for me like most days: Awake early and shower just as dad's leaving. Then follows change/eat in 5 min and avid catch up on Warcraft III (which everyone needs to buy). And of course there is boring classes and daydreams about women and glory. In religion we went on a "field trip" up the hill to the chapel, and the nun there told us the best way to discover our person vocation was to live and love life. Well, damn straight I say. Rosie is the nicest person I know. Spending time with her is wonderful. I don't know if she'll read this journal or not, but if you are: rember the sign language, I'm too green to actually say it, and besides, my luck in that area isn't very positive. Despite what all the cynics say, Gunplay is a wonderful and contemporary script, and though it may not contain the "drama" of a Stall play, it contains whimsy and issues that desperately need to be addressed. It could be very wonderful, or very very lame, but after practise today, I am of the opinion it will go EXTREMELY well. I haven't really ever gone to a play practice within the first few times that haven't been a dreadful experince: it's hard to adept to a character, it's awkward with lines, everyone is worrying about the production specifics. But there was none of that crap today, sheer ideas and thought. I was not uncomfortable at all, and neither were any of the freshman, and although laughs were shared, we accomplished quite a lot. Most of the people Atwell cast are experienced and/or very capable. It will be a good show. I noticed that Amanda H. is a good leader. People pay attention to her w/o bullshit, and jokes aren't the main subject or the butt of anger. However, this practice today was PERFECT. The true test of her ability will be tried in the fires of "less than" savoury rehersal/workshop experiences. Well, I'm off to do homework. SOrry couldn't play with you tonight, Chris. P.S. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE SYNTAX FOR HARD RETURN IN HTML??? IT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY FORMAT AS SUCH.

  • Play practice went really well. The freshmen seem to be good. I am optimistic about this play also. All of you not in it come see it! There are a couple of annoying cast members but you always have that. We shall play another day Roberto. Chaio. ~Chris~
  • You would be so much more happy as a techie and not as an actor...or maybe not.
Anyways, I am glad the play is going well. It brings me joy. Can't really comment on it, seeing as I am not in it.
Rob Widner has a hairy nose.
I think you and Rosie would be cute together. Oh, was I not supposed to say that publicly on here?

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from a rigged demo.
