Correlation does not equal causation. I had seen studies a few years ago showing that continuous radiation at cell phone frequencies does not cause a problem but varying modulation schemes correlate to timing of cell division and other cellular processes. It is the modulation techniques that can interfere with cellular operation. that is the closest thing to a sensible argument I've heard in relation to these types of studies

This eliminates the use of H1B to just cut cost and keeps the ability of companies to find talent that really is not available here and now but encouraging companies to keep looking for local talent to fill the bill.

There are really two things that can solve the vast majority of humanities problems. 1) making energy no longer a zero sum game. 2) education. 1) is relatively straight forward, unambiguous and likely to happen in the next decade. 2) Will have widely contentious content. We all know uncle Sam is really looking out for your best interest. I guess that is why they were aloud to continue to sell the drug that killed my dad. The FDA had issued 5 warnings to the drug company that it was killing 5% of people who were given the drug for heart surgery that had a mortality rate of 1%. He survived the operation just fine. 5% of the people given this drug had multiple systems failure that killed them days after the operation. Unfortunately my dad was one of the last to be killed by this drug which has now been pulled from the shelves. No one has been killed by homeopathy! The brain is a power organ and even if it is only a placebo effect the FTC has no business messing with this "placebo medicine". It is not hurting any one like the dozens of big pharma drugs with side effects worse than what they are "treating".

I suspect they have all messed with the regular insulin to force diabetics onto the new ~35X more expensive insulin.

After watching the videos one showed a service guy holding a "part". It took me all of about 20 minutes looking at suppliers of this stuff to find that it can likely be replaced with a VS-ST330C16L0GI. There are 41 in stock between Digikey and a few others. There are probably other suppliers of identical package parts and "close enough" specifications to get all the trains back up in as long as it takes to install the parts. From the look of several parts in the videos of BART the problem could just be grime build up and conduction to the gate pin blowing out the parts. Solvable with a simple spray down of the parts once in a while.
