I have personally seen the H1B process first hand abused by employers which isn't fair to those wanting to come to the US to find a better life. However, this isn't enough. The US also needs to increase corporate taxes on those companies who are currently laying off US employees to merely restaff that exact same role in cheaper labor markets. I've seen many companies in the last few years layoff their US workers to merely repost the role in India for a fourth of the cost and then turn around and announce "record breaking profits".

I've seen this trend the last 10 or so years and it's hitting harder and harder. It started with H1Bs and they filled the needs but now more and more US companies are laying off white collar workers in favor of an overseas labor market. I can't tell you how many times as management I've had to "relocate" a position to India because of budget cuts all while the company reports record profits. I hope there are tax penalties in place for US based companies who desire to continue this trend to shave pennies here and there in the workforce.

Did you say the same thing when kids were targeting kids and they took their own lives because of the amount of cyber bullying? Comments like this is why kids like this learn from adults who act like this. Do better...

The teachers impacted should go after the parents of the children civilly for defamation. I hope the judge who gets the cases imposes the maximum fine to the parents and then forces the children to LARGE amounts of community service. These children need to learn consequences for their actions or it will be a repeat again later in life. They are lucky none of the teachers inflicted personal harm over this because it is cyber bullying.
