Someone sends me an AIM, and at first this was my own personal The Wrong George moment, but then the person got REALLY crazy-loco. I censored a few words so as not to offend the readers.

The real question is not what he wanted to begin with, but why did he persist in IMing you when he realized that you were obviously not the person he was looking for?

Two theories:

1. Knew all along that this was the pudge who edits /. and was just trolling as long as he could
2. Was looking for someone else who often uses the nick "pudge" and searched for pudge, found the AIM, and started bugging him. When pudge didn't know what was going on, the fellow thought he was just playing dumb. Say, for instanc

It's probably #1 since NIWS is Night In White Satin, a K5 [kuro5hin.org] troll. Captan Tenille is an admin over there, and Rusty is the guy who started the site.
