I've been receiving spam from onmicrosoft subdomains for years. Every time I reported it to Microsoft's CERT, they replied that the report couldn't be verified. Microsoft and Google are the primary source of spam I get, and both platforms chose not to implement very simple measures to prevent their platforms from being used by spammers.

I've seen at least one instance of an IDE coding assistant refactoring and breaking unrelated working code while told to perform another task on the same file.

Most cell types in every human body, regardless of sex, contain mitochondria. They're what power the cells. It's true that with very few exceptions, people usually get them from their mother, but there have also been recorded cases where the father's mitochondria made it into the next generation, see the Wikipedia page "Paternal mtDNA transmission".

Why not just use the mitochondria from the father if the problem was with the ones provided by the mother?

Amazingly, we've gotten to a point where Meta is the least bad of all social network companies. All the other major ones are essentialy weapons of informational warfare used by foreign powers against liberal democracies (X, Telegram, TikTok).

They could just present any numbers they want, it's not like anyone has the ability to check.

I don't see anything wrong with technically skilled people repairing computers with used parts sourced from other machines. This is exactly like what my generation was normally doing two decades ago with tower PCs.

I've had my taskbar on two rows, with text, and no "stacking" ever since the days of Windows 9x. I pushed back against every attempt on Microsoft's behalf to introduce UI defaults that hurt the usability of the operating system. Not looking forward to Windows 11.
