We are not competing with the Phone/Cable companies. We have made arrangements with the Public Utility District (PUD) in each of those Counties (Grant, Mason, & Kitsap)... They are providing the medium, the bandwidth, all of the layer2 management, etc. We simply take the TCP connections, use our Radius to allow/disallow connections, and pipe their requests out through our 120Mbps+ of Bandwidth.
We actually keep two pipes up to our main POP one through NOANet (100Mbps backhauled to Seattle), the other through our OC ((OC192) point-to-point to Seattle) provider. Once our data gets to Seattle, it hits our main router and is sent out through *BIG* pipes on 1 of 11 networks. The network chosen is based on network speeds calculated every 5 minutes.
We are always looking for additional customers ( and investors ( hint hint! ) around the country to bring into our network. If you are looking to get out of the business, you should give us a call. We've acquired at least 7 different ISPs in the last 2 years, and are always looking for more.
We have dialup access in each of the 48 continental, plus Canada. Currently we support QWEST DSL, and have just about finished our deal with Sprint to provide Internet Access for their DSL Customers also.
Anyways, like I said, we have experienced probably close to 1000% growth in the last two years. We are ALWAYS looking for more customers to provide service for. We currently target ISPs with between 1 & 10 thousand customers.
Our phone numbers are posted on our website, if you would like to discuss an offer, feel free to give me a call and I'll be more than happy to get you in touch with the necessary people.
