Correction * effort into apps

The only reason meta cares is because this app bypasses users seeing ads. They'd go after Ad Block, Adguard and others too if they had better case against them. The only reason Meta puts more effort into their ads is so people wont just use the browsers that might have an ad blocker installed.

Meta's product is the users eyeballs....not the feed itself.

Boils down to a person's personality. Some can thrive WFH and some like to be at the office and interact face to face with everyone or well honestly to be way from their kids. To some extent it can also depend on the office design for some folks. Personally I focus better at home and can Teams/Slack constantly with my coworkers as we need to. Hasn't slowed my current team, nor had it slowed down the team at my last job.
