If this was REALLY a restoration, the film (either print, camera original negative, or YCM separations) would get re-scanned at higher resolution, there would be dirt and scratch removal, registration correction and final color timing. This seems to be a resolution scale with AI, and just adding saturation. The scaling with AI is well known and some VFX and post houses are already using it for NTSC/PAL TV shows that the owners want upscaled to 4k.
