This law changes .. nothing.. maybe no one here has been arrested... or the /. jailbirds are quiet, but this is s.o.p in almost all jails in all states. You are usually instructed to remove all of your clothes, and you are searched for contraband, (drugs,weapons, etc) and you are then either issued jail fatigues, or you are allowed to put your own clothes back on (depends on the jail, how long you wil be in for, policies, etc) .. All that this law does is legally formalize state-by-state policies which have been in practice for the last 30-50 years. Yes, if you go to jail you ARE strip-searched as part of in-proccessing (where you get your prints, mug shot taken, etc) ... You have no choice but to comply, or else you will be searched by force, or quarantined until you consent, as you may be a risk to yourself or others.. politkal writes: A Chinese telecommunications equipment company has sold Iran's largest telecom firm a powerful surveillance system capable of monitoring landline, mobile and internet communications, interviews and contract documents show.
The system was part of a 98.6 million euro ($130.6 million) contract for networking equipment supplied by Shenzhen, China-based ZTE Corp to the Telecommunication Co of Iran (TCI), according to the documents. Government-controlled TCI has a near monopoly on Iran's landline telephone services and much of Iran's internet traffic is required to flow through its network.
The ZTE-TCI deal, signed in December 2010, illustrates how despite tightening global sanctions, Iran still manages to obtain sophisticated technology, including systems that can be used to crack down on dissidents.
Human rights groups say they have documented numerous cases in which the Iranian government tracked down and arrested critics by monitoring their telephone calls or internet activities. Iran this month set up a Supreme Council of Cyberspace, headed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who said it would protect "against internet evils," according to Iranian state television.

drain our economy, ruin our diplomatic standing, and now have Pakistan as their puppet which we pay to behave (and also shoot at ISAF troops in Afhganistan)
