You realize this ban is a Biden Administration effort, which they timed to January 19th in order to try and prevent Trump from having a say, right? Trump is on record as not wanting to ban tiktok, so it will potentially be reversed after the changeover.

Who is the tiktok competitor you believe influenced the Democrats into this action?

But having the unconstitutionally pointed out by law professors a long time ago means it wasn't just an arbitrary decision because Trump was running again.

Also, we all know that there is a 0% chance Trump would've been charged like that in NY if he wasn't a political enemy of the Democrats. No one else has ever been charged for that particular made up supposed crime.

Doesn't it bother you to see people prosecuted for disagreeing with those in power in NY politically? Is that really the kind of tyrannical government you prefer?

Naw, it's been publicized by law professors for years that Jack Smith's appointment was in violation of the constitution. The courts are just slow to consider motions and appeals in this country.

The NY charges were unprecedented. The law had literally never been construed that way before (not to mention trying to turn expired misdemeanors into felonies) and the prosecutor spent millions on a case where the supposed victims said Trump did nothing wrong.

The GOP must've been doing something right for at least 14 year, then.

BTW, GOP states don't extort taxpayer money from everyone else. People who work in higher cost of living states run by the Dems (and pay taxes there) and then retire to lower cost of living states run by the GOP and collect their SS, Medicare, federal retirement payments there. So the same people are collecting their own previously paid taxes.

The Florida case was never properly brought by a legally appointed prosecutor, which is why it was dismissed. It will go no where in the future as well. Biden did much worse and wasn't prosecuted because he's too senile.

The trial Jury in the NY case didn't even agree on what he specifically did which was illegal, on a literally unprecedented theory of law the prosecutors and their pet judge made up specifically to attempt to convict Trump.

Keep inventing strawmen to fight.

My observation was that the GOP won "across the board", meaning "across all levels", not "state-level blowout" (what would that even mean? There are 50 states!* We're talking about nation-wide). The GOP's majority of governors and state legislatures are part of that board, along with the House, Senate, and electoral college.

Prosecutors spent months and millions of dollars attempting to find anything they could charge Trump with in NY and the best they could come up with was a novel interpretation of a victimless paperwork crime which will much likely be thrown out on appeal as invalid.

"Give me the men and I'll find you the crime" is exactly the kind of tyrannical lawfare which was rejected in this election.
