Why do you think there programming holy wars? By that i mean some people only do top-down C and they make fun of C++ guys who do everything in objects and so forth. Myself prefer pascal, but at work I use C++ all day and have no issue. But once i tell someone i prefer pascal to C or C++ they make fun of me.
