This one is from the customer experience perspective. Customers, who purchased Windows phones from any headset manufacturer since Q2 2011, reported much higher satisfaction rates than customers of any other smartphone platform. Here is the link to some research http://blog.amplifiedanalytics.com/2013/09/correlation-of-customer-experience-trends-can-predict-shifts-in-market-share/. HTC makes good quality phones, judging by Social NPS (Net Promoter Scores), for both Windows and Android platforms, but lucks differentiation from the marketing perspective. Their Android phones are very generic, unlike Samsung Galaxy efforts. I think the availability of both platforms on the single headset, may give them some edge however short-lived.

1. kept reasonably good personal contact and relationship with middle managers who actually "consumed" our work 2. used twitter and other social media to gently reminding them (personally) that I need their help to collect. I never openly shamed and named, but it was implicitly clear that I may start doing so 3. I asked for their advice if posting the company name on the debtor's site would help us get paid 4. I mentioned to them that I am considering to engage commercial collection agency Eventually it has worked and I got paid. I don't think that open treats of action would ever work, and after the action takes place the bridges are burned. If you still work with them, consider to involve factoring agency to pay you upfront and dealing with them for collection. You would have to raise your rate to protect your margins as these agencies charge 25% or more to do it.

You will not find the reviews like that on any reputable site because they have language use rules. It does not mean they do or do not "mitigate" the reviews. Amazon has very good record of not meddling with the submission process for Consumer Electronics and Computer products. My start up is involved in aggregation and semantic analysis to mine sentiments and create metrics. Amazon, Neweggs and other retail sites are our sources for raw data, we don't bother with the "stars". There are plenty of "real" reviews on these sites, but there are of course some marketing "geniuses" who try to game the system. That is why a large, i.e. statistically meaningful, number of reviews are critical for production of accurate Product reputation metrics. It is unfortunate that the forums, like this one, or social network sites like GetSatisfaction, do not provide structural relation to the accurate product names. The reviews left on site like that, unfortunately are not very useful, as they are very difficult to find and to attribute to a specific product by a consumer, who investigate a purchase, or by an independent reputation scorer, like us. www.amplifiedanalytics.com
